Congratulations to Chloe Barth who won The Future Care Group’s LOVE award for living our values every day! Chloe is such a passionate and committed member of the team and is always trying to find innovative ways to improve the lives of the residents in Holmwood. Chloe has embraced the dementia champion role and the majority of staff have now completed the Standby me training.
Chloe has also improved the environment in the home with individual memory baskets and wall art and graphics including having a pivotal role in developing the vintage café. As a Senior carer Chloe coaches and supports carers to ensure person-centered care is in place and leads the shifts and advises on how best to deliver 121 care for people living with dementia.
Chloe had developed a sponsored raffle as part of a family fun day in April to raise funds for improving the life of people living with dementia at HW including linking with local companies and organizations providing gifts, experiences and vouchers as prizes. This provided Chloe with additional community links, unfortunately this was placed on hold due to Covid.
