We are working with the Government’s UK vaccination programme to ensure the safety of residents and staff. We are pleased to announce that several of our homes have already started to receive emails from the vaccination hubs regarding appointments for our staff to be vaccinated.
The initial focus is on vaccinating care home workers and people over 80 years old. Vaccines will be available from Tuesday 8 December 2020, initially in up to 50 Hospital Hubs across England.
We are fully supporting our staff to ensure they are vaccinated. Our Care Home Managers are taking proactive steps to be fully prepared for the vaccinations and avoid any potential delays.
We aim to work closely with our family members as we jointly promote the vaccine to all our residents in our hope they will all agree to being vaccinated.
Our nurses now have the skills to vaccinate all residents as the vaccination becomes available to us.
We hope that the vaccine will now make the future brighter in line with our slogan: “Your Future Matters”
