This week singer Amanda Parsons came to entertain the residents at Oaklands House. As always she sang a repertoire of hits through the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.
Amanda sings for an hour, all our residents really enjoy the time she spends at Oaklands, singing and dancing and clapping their hands to the music.
We even had a special appearance alongside Amanda from one of our very own residents who use to sing along with her sister. “These boots are made for walking” was the song of choice and brought many happy memories back for her. All the other residents cheered and clapped to show her their appreciation.
