Last week we celebrated Carers Week in the UK. This is a time to raise awareness of caring and carers. It highlights the challenges carers face and recognises their contribution to families and communities across the country. This may include carers both young and old, those who are paid and family carers who are unpaid.
We need to work to make caring Visible, Valued and Supported.
We came together to thank our carers at Steep House for all that they do.
Our kitchen staff were once again busy preparing food and the carers enjoyed the buffet.
Carers were also presented with a token of appreciation for all their hard work.
