Kings Lodge Nursing Home had a very special day marking Chinese New Year. Preparation for the day started off with making home decorations and residents were happy to help! Using paper mache, we made a 3-headed tiger which residents found very entertaining. Tables were set up for the occasion and the residents indulged in a selection of delicious Chinese dishes, including pork in black bean sauce, sweet and sour chicken, rice and egg noodles, prawn crackers and a selection of deserts. Many residents commented that it was a truly special day.
