Residents at Oaklands enjoyed two Church services in one week. First was our Zoom service, which originated during the lockdown and was so well received, it was decided it would continue. We hold this service in our cinema room, it is provided by Caraway and hosted by Southampton City Chaplain Erica Roberts, with additional readings given by her team.
Our second service welcomed Brenda and Margaret from our local church, St James’ in West End. Brenda and Margaret have been coming to Oaklands for a number of years and the service they provide is looked forward to, and always well received. Residents involved embrace the hymns, prayers, reading and spiritual ambience, always providing a positive effect to their well-being.
