CQC inspection rating GOOD

The Boynes Care Centre in Upton-upon-Severn has been rated as ‘Good’ following a Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.

Debbie Williams, Home Manager, said: “We’re all absolutely thrilled and delighted to be rated as Good by CQC. It goes to show how hard the team here work to make a difference to the lives of those not only in their care, but their families too.”  One comment the care quality commission stated in their report was that -People were supported to have maximum choice about their lives and were supported in the least restrictive way possible.  Group Operations Director Micky Shirley said “It was wonderful to read this particular comment as it aligns to our new vision, mission and values. Inspiring and enabling people to live a meaningful life as part of a great life. I believe the recognition is much deserved.” The home plan on celebrating this latest achievement by having a big party with the residents and their families to celebrate.
