The residents of Oaklands House enjoyed a fun indoor gardening activity planting bulbs in pots for our courtyard.
One lady that has always been a very keen gardener, was pleased to help with the instructions as to which bulbs would grow best in which pot. We’ve learned a lot from her!
Conversations took place between the residents about the gardens they had previously tended throughout their lives and the things they favoured growing.
We are looking forward to seeing the flowers blooming in the spring.
This was an activity that everyone enjoyed immensely and Gardening Club has now been added to our monthly planner as a regular feature.
