We took part in NAPA’s celebrations for the National Day of Arts in Care Homes #AICH2021. We joined NAPA in seated dance session called “Let’s get ready to Dance” on the 24th of September. The session was suitable for all care settings, catering for all levels of mobility. No prior dance experience was needed! We gathered our residents in the lounge close to the television and engaged with the zoom participants on easy dance moves and made this a fun morning to remember. Going forward, we would like to make this day a “Let’s dance” day and continue with music and dance moves from around the world. The cupcakes and goodies were a lovely treat from our kitchen to enjoy with dance videos and impromptu dances from our staff to entertain residents!
