Acacia Lodge Care Home offers multiple areas and activities for our residents to explore including our own vehicle to ensure our residents enjoy meaningful trips out.
We recently had a trip to the banks of the river Thames. The staff arranged to take our residents out with some bread to feed the ducks, which they loved doing. The residents enjoyed watching the river and boats go by; it felt so serene and joyful. The ladies had a lovely time; plenty of fresh air and lots of chattering. The pleasure of a Mr whippy ice cream made their afternoon complete.
