Priory Court Care Home is proud to announce that the new games room is now open for the residents to use at their leisure. It has many entertaining activities including dominoes, puzzles, art therapy, crosswords and lots more! It also has a hydration station in the room so residents can help themselves to drinks and snacks.
One of the residents, Brenda, was offered to head up some of the activities – she was so happy to be taking this on, saying it is wonderful to be involved which gives a sense of purpose. Brenda will be doing hangman on a Wednesday morning and also will be heading our focus group and fund-raising ideas and support. Brenda now has an Activity Support badge and is very proud of it!
