Oaklands residents and relatives had a lovely time at our Christmas party. Singer Lindsey B kicked off the afternoon with her wonderful voice singing a selection of Christmas songs and carols. She encouraged the audience to join in giving them different parts of the songs to sing along while playing their musical instruments.
A selection of Christmas puzzles, riddles and word searches were given out and a Christmas quiz was also participated in. Residents happily adorned Christmas spectacles getting into the spirit and resident Maggi was pleased to win the best Christmas outfit competition.
Residents enjoyed a selection of non-alcoholic, beers wines and gin from the Oaklands Tavern and a wonderful spread was put on by Chef Sarah and her team. A very enjoyable afternoon for all involved!
