Oaklands House had a truly amazing Christmas party for residents, their families and friends where moments of joy where shared. The celebration featured beautiful Christmas songs and everyone was singing and dancing! Those residents in wheelchairs that wanted to dance were taken onto the dance floor and twirled around to the music. The Oaklands Tavern bar was open and many of the residents enjoyed a drink, all making for an energetic and cheerful party. When the music had come to an end we drew our Christmas raffle, there was a plethora of prizes which had been generously donated. Once the raffle had been drawn, everyone enjoyed the tasty buffet which the kitchen staff had done a great job of providing. It was a lovely display with a snowy village of sponge houses and a festive pastry Christmas tree.
Residents, relatives and staff alike all agreed the party had been a great success.
