Oaklands Got Talent – Talent Show

Our residents at Oaklands House enjoyed an afternoon being entertained by both staff and one of our residents. Six acts showcased their talents. First, we had Angie from Activities entertaining the crowd with her comedic jokes, followed by the Kitchen staff singing and accompanied by one very talented resident playing his ukulele. Next up was the same resident doing his version of a Cinderella monologue, which got a huge reaction from the crowd! Fourth was Dee from Activities, performing Dick Wittington, complete with ginger cat. Wendy, also from Activities, wrote and performed a poem personalised to Oaklands residents about their lives before Oaklands. Bringing up the rear, the grand finale was Home manager Byron Nadgie and his son carer Sam, splendidly singing songs from musical theatre. An amazing mixed bag of talent!
