Residents at Oaklands House enjoyed Shrove Tuesday this week. Chef Sarah made extra pancakes to enable the residents to have fun flipping them, one resident said, “it reminds me of when I had young children, I used to make pancake stacks for my children to decorate with their favourite toppings.” Everyone agreed that not only were the pancakes delicious but having a go at flipping them was great fun.
Despite the multiple toppings on offer! it remained unanimous that the favourite topping for their pancakes was still a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkling of sugar.
