At Oaklands House, one of our lovely residents, Irene, had a fun afternoon with our chef, Sarah, in the kitchen, preparing and making pancakes for Pancake Day. Other residents took part in a word game on the whiteboard with how many words can you find in Pancake Day and Shrove Tuesday. They managed to make 111 words!
Residents also enjoyed having funny pancake poems read to them, bringing much joy and laughter. Our chef, Sarah, put together a fine selection of pancakes with a choice of toppings and various fruits to choose from, which was welcomed and enjoyed by everyone.
