Sometimes it’s good to have time to choose what activity you want to do. We have days when our residents at Steep House Nursing Home are all doing something different, and it encourages them to make their own choices and to indulge in things they personally enjoy. Person-centred care is something very important to us at Steep House and we try to include it in all aspects of our care.
The residents took part in doing jigsaw puzzles, playing card matching games, looking at books and listening to music and sounds. Residents’ enjoyment of the activities and their involvement is always so wonderful to see.
