Oaklands residents spent a wonderful, therapeutic afternoon making beautiful patterns with marbling art. For this activity, we needed a container with water, marbling ink, and A4 paper. Residents chose the colours they wanted to appear in their artwork, dripped the marbling ink into the water, mixed it and submerged the paper into the mixture. The ink adhered to the paper and produced brilliant patterns.
The residents who took part were all very pleased with their works of art. Much humorous conversation and laughter abounded during this fun activity.
