One of our Team Leaders, Tim Emburey at Chestnut View Care Home, took on the virtual marathon to raise money for Leukaemia and Myeloma research. Myeloma is treatable but it’s not curable. It is a blood cancer which affects the bone marrow. It affects a lot of people over 65. Tim completed the marathon in 7hr, 14min and 28secs and says he was pleased with the time.
