Our animal loving residents really enjoyed this year’s World Animal Day, with various activities going on throughout Oaklands House Care Centre. A documentary in the cinema was a big hit in the West End Suite, they saw 30 difference animals throughout the documentary.
Did you know that elephants eat 150 kilos of food per day and drink 100ltrs of water?
We enjoyed colouring in animal pictures and taking part in an animal quiz. One resident loved using our magic table and watching as she touched the outlined animal transform into a beautifully coloured picture.
