What a fantastic day our beloved residents at Priory Court Care Home had!
First, we embarked on a delightful adventure to Pets at Home in New Malden, where we had the pleasure of meeting a menagerie of incredible creatures – from adorable rabbits and guinea pigs to majestic, bearded dragons and even a not-so-itsy-bitsy tarantula spider!
Our residents were utterly captivated by the enchanting world of lizards, and Wendy struck up a delightful conversation with the friendly dragons. After our amazing animal encounter, we hopped back on the minibus and made our way to The Old Moat Garden Centre for a well-deserved treat: a delightful cup of tea and some scrumptious cake!
We savoured our refreshments outdoors, taking in the sights of people strolling by with their furry companions – we even had a mischievous dog making its mark on the garden centre’s seats! It was a truly wonderful day filled with fresh air and a change of scenery that they’ll cherish forever. Our residents absolutely adore these outings, and they eagerly await the next adventure.
