We pride ourselves on our person centred approach to care and our staff will ensure that you are integrated within the life at our homes so that you can engage with other residents and feel comfortable throughout your stay. Our carers make sure you have access to the assistance you need for the duration of your time with us.

Our respite care values

Regardless of the amount of time you spend in our care, we prioritise these four key values. You can expect us to carry out these values through our person centred respite care services.

Care

We meet the needs of our residents with dignity and respect. Our team are committed to providing the highest standard of care for your short-term stay with us.

Comfort

We will ensure you settle into our home as quickly as possible, which is why we create an environment where you can feel comfortable and relaxed.

Compassion

We create close relationships with our residents, built on compassion and respect. We encourage staff and residents to be respectful to each other at all times, which helps residents to live an enjoyable life with us.

Credibility

We build strong relationships with our residents by being trustworthy, transparent, and professional. We make sure that we act in the best interests of our residents.

What is respite care?

Respite care is intended for carers who need to take a break from caring whilst this person is looked after by someone else. Whether on a short term or longer-term basis, respite care is adaptable to the needs of the resident and the carer is able to take as much of a break as they need. Our team can provide respite care for varying circumstances and are adaptable to the specific needs of each resident. Whether you are recovering from surgery or illness, or your carer is away for a period of time, we can provide care to ensure you have access to the support you need at this time. With activities and amenities to take advantage of, we ensure you can make the most of your time with us.

We have events taking place on a regular basis that all residents can get involved in, whether they want to pursue their hobbies or try new activities. We can assist you in helping to remain active and taking part in activities that bring you enjoyment. Activities include:

Respite care for dementia patients

We can provide respite care to cater to the specific needs of residents with dementia and our team can ensure they are provided with the support they need. Residents with dementia can find it difficult to carry out daily tasks and, for the duration of your time with us, our staff will understand your specific needs and offer as much assistance as you need. We are committed to providing the highest standard of dementia care for residents within our homes, and each home manager elects Dementia Champions who are responsible for improving standards of care for dementia residents. They promote inclusivity and engagement, improving the quality of life for residents with dementia. You can expect to benefit from this throughout your time with us.
