Residents at Acacia Care Centre had a fantastic day at the Horniman Museum & Gardens! Founded by Frederick John Horniman in 1890, the museum showcases treasures from around the world.
We explored the vibrant World Gallery, filled with thousands of objects and the Cloutie Tree adorned with wishes from visitors.
The Musical Instruments room was a highlight, boasting a grand collection from across the globe. We enjoyed interactive areas where we could listen to various instruments.
The weather was perfect for strolling in the gardens, admiring the London skyline. Residents even got to see some farm animals – alpacas and sheep!
We had a delightful picnic in the garden, sipping hot coffee and chocolates while watching children play nearby. Residents said they had a wonderful day!
