Creative day with air-dry clay

This week the residents of Oaklands House used the new air-dry clay to build various funny little figures including trees, mushrooms, piglets and octopuses.

The texture of the air-dry clay is nothing like conventional clay, it is soft and spongy, similar to a marshmallow and is already coloured, which makes moulding figures much easier.

Everyone was pleased with their bright and cheerful display!
