Acacia Care Centre embarked on a trip to the Museum of Croydon! The museum offers a fascinating journey through the real history of Croydon.
We had the opportunity to explore various displays, including the Riesco Gallery, boasting over 200 items from Raymond Riesco’s personal collection of Chinese ceramics.
Additionally, we delved into “Routes to Roots,” a south Asian heritage exhibition, and “This is Croydon’s Music,” showcasing the borough’s musical history.
Trips like this are invaluable for residents, providing a sense of well-being and allowing them to reminisce about familiar places.
At the Clock Tower Cafe, we enjoyed hot drinks and snacks while residents shared their memories of Croydon. It was a delightful and enriching morning, enjoyed by both residents and staff!
