Oaklands House Care Centre residents enjoyed getting into the Easter spirit! They made their own creations, decorating wreaths with colourful eggs, ribbons, flowers and chicks and producing vibrant patterns on egg shaped scratch papers with bamboo tools.
Arts and crafts can be a powerful way for people living with dementia to not only express themselves, but also stimulate the mind.
Those involved with the Easter arts and craft sessions said they enjoyed the activity and were pleased with the results of their work.
