Today at Steep House Nursing Home was all about connecting and creativity as we took Sid and Mary to The Jeff Williams Friendship Group. Hosted at the United Reform Church in Petersfield, this wonderful gathering is supported by Dementia Friendly Petersfield.
Art, especially painting, offers more than just colours on a canvas – it’s a journey of relaxation and self-expression. It sparks creativity, nurtures emotional wellbeing, sharpens memory, and fosters concentration.
Our ongoing participation in these sessions has been a joy, loved by our residents. It’s not just about the art; it’s about connecting, sharing stories, and embracing a change of scenery.
