International Nurses Day marks the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, who is considered the founder of modern medicine. The day is celebrated every year on May 12th to highlight the contribution of nurses to the healthcare sector.
The theme for this year’s International Nurses Day is ‘Our nurses, Our future’. This is a global campaign which aims to address global health challenges and achieve better global health for all.
At Steep House Nursing Home, we held a little tea party to celebrate our nurses. Our nurses on duty represented all the nurses who work with us, and they will all receive a token of appreciation for all their hard work.
