Oaklands is thrilled to be in a trial period with a mobile activity table from De Beleef. This versatile tool can be enjoyed throughout the home in groups or individually.
Our dear resident John was excited to be the first to try it out, with a collection of games to reminisce, colour, and play air hockey, his favourite.
These games stimulate the brain, utilise fine motor skills, and bring joy into our home. Many one-to-one activities were provided, offering comfort, connections, and cognitive stimulation to keep our residents’ minds active.
Spending time together fosters friendships, special relationships, and opportunities for enjoyment and social contact. Quality time with our dear residents is rewarding, especially when enjoying fun activities together.
Meaningful activities are linked to hobbies or interest’s residents enjoy. Encouraging them to take an active role in choosing activities that are meaningful to them is essential.
