This week we took four of our residents out to Keydell Nurseries, where they have a very stunning winter wonderland walk. Our residents were riveted by the brightly coloured displays, stimulating senses of both our non-verbal and verbal residents, and they were mesmerised by the different displays around every corner.
The animals were very realistic and one of our residents took a shine to one of the dogs in the display putting his hands through the imitation window to stroke the dog.
The displays carried on outside, where there were also real reindeer, donkeys, goats and pigs! All of our residents had a very enjoyable trip despite the cold, wind and rain.
