Morning Exercise

Steep House Nursing Home residents had a good morning of exercise today. First a few stretches of the arms and legs and then into a round of Hockey Cokey.

Exercise, even just a little each day, improves strength and gives you more energy. This helps people to stay independent. It can improve balance, prevent or delay diseases like heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis. Exercising can also improve mood; help fight depression and may improve cognitive function. Let’s all keep moving!
