Happy National Gardening Day!
Let’s celebrate by planting some seeds and kickstarting the summer flowers and homegrown fruits and veggies season.
At Steep House Nursing Home, residents and staff got together to plant some cress seeds. Once they’re grown, we’ll use them to make delicious egg and cress sandwiches or add them to a fresh salad.
To add some extra fun, we planted some seeds in eggshells and gave them cute faces. Resident Roy couldn’t help but laugh at the idea of the eggheads having more hair than him!
