Embracing Creativity at Oaklands House Care Centre!
On September 24th, our residents celebrated the National Day of Arts in Care Homes. With colouring pens and pencils in hand, they embarked on an artistic journey, crafting beautiful masterpieces that bring joy and a sense of accomplishment to their lives.
Resident Graham’s imagination soared with a drawing of a tree, birds, a vehicle, and a trailer, while Irene created her own charabanc masterpiece.
Arts-based activities foster reminiscence and enhance well-being, making them an essential part of our daily activities.
