Residents at Oaklands House celebrated Chinese New Year 2023, year of the rabbit, which symbolizes prosperity and peace. Our lovely residents had a lot of fun leading up to the New Year with a craft afternoon making dragons with glitter and materials. Some dragons were painted, put together and decorated if wished. Crosswords, word-search, spot the difference, game of jeopardy and colouring pictures were also participated in it was a lot of fun for all that joined in.
Our home was decorated beautifully and dining the tables were laid with a Chinese themed menu. All the food was cooked, and beautifully presented by our chefs Sarah and Szilard, it was a wonderful afternoon for all!
