Oaklands House Pantomime!

Oaklands House staff put on a splendid performance for our residents, their relatives, and friends. Full of peculiar characters, humorous jokes, lively singing and a moralistic story, Off White and The 7 Odd-Fellows told the mysterious story of missing Piggy Mitchell. The movements of her neighbours and friends and her unlikely return, set in a court room and all acted out in rhyming verse.

Much laughter abounded, at the whimsical personalities and comical costumes, with the audience joining in the songs throughout the performance. Everyone involved said what a wonderful uplifting afternoon it was. Whilst the Panto was written by Wendy from the Lifestyles Team, we couldn’t have done it without the additional commitment of our Care Staff, Receptionist and Management, so a big thank you to you all for getting involved!
