Brook House Nursing Home residents had a lovely afternoon remembering favourite meals when they were kids. Everyone agreed Spam was very popular and all families had it in their kitchen. Spam is a brand of canned pork that was introduced to Britain during World War 2 food shortages. We decided to cook some nice meals using Spam which was very entertaining and the smells brought up many fond memories from the past!
