On a hot, sunny afternoon, what better way to spend it than with the air con on and a cool shandy in hand whilst listening to the smooth sounds of visiting saxophonist Freddy Saxo from @mackentsuk.
Recognisable songs played in Jazz and Blues had our residents at Oaklands House Care Centre tapping their toes and clapping along. TV theme tunes like The Pink Panther and The Benny Hill Show played on the sax brought back memories and put a smile to everyone’s face.
Relaxation was the name of the game and residents; families and staff enjoyed a very chilled out vibe. All those that attended said how much they enjoyed listening to the saxophone and that they would love to have Freddy visit again!
