At Steep House Nursing Home, we gathered for a delightful chat about our all-time favourite foods and those not-so-favoured. While we reminisced, we indulged in some nostalgic sweets from our local specialty shop.
Remembering the sweet shop with rows of jars and sweets being weighed into paper bags made us smile. Today, it was all about Pontefract cakes and peppermint creams, taking us back to the days when sweets were a special treat, and trips to the store with our parents were pure joy!
