This year Steep House Nursing Home once again won the Petersfield in Bloom competition! Even during lock down – the maintenance manager Mr Martyn Ball and Dave, the gardener, have maintained the garden so well that Steep House were joint overall winners in all 3 categories of Petersfield in Bloom 2020! So proud of these achievements during these difficult times. The three categories were: unusual container, border and VE/VJ day.
For the past few years, Martyn was working tremendously hard to create a beautiful garden at Steep House for the residents and the garden looked better and better year after year!
This year Martyn wanted to do something different. So him along with the residents worked on adding more colours to the garden. With the help of Dave, the gardener, he has done a wonderful job to create a sensory effect for the residents particularly who are effected by Dementia.
