This afternoon, Steep House Nursing Homes residents and staff took a trip into Petersfield town.
We took a walk around the market looking at handbags and flowers and bought a yummy looking apple slice for their afternoon teatime. Residents, Sandra, and Brenda reminisced about their days working at the co-op, which used to be where Mountain Warehouse now is.
We then wandered down the high street to the Petersfield Physic Garden. Here, we looked at all the flowers, trees, fruit, and herbs that are growing. We sat here in the shade for a while and had a cool drink before we headed back to Steep to try the apple slice.
