The Boynes Care Centre celebrated the opening of its new Vintage Cafe on the 7th of March 2020. The Mayor of Malvern Cllr Neil Morton, officially cut the ribbon. The Vintage Cafe is a new service which offers a place for people living with dementia and their carers to pop in for a coffee and chat. Opening the Vintage Cafe will provide a supportive environment where people can come together to share experiences and advice and simply relax and have fun. The Boynes will be running the café the first Thursday of every month from morning to afternoon, excluding lunchtimes.
The relatives and friends of the Boynes that attended all commented on how brilliant the afternoon was. The residents had a great time and felt so proud that they were a part of what was achieved.
