Priory Court residents had the amazing Kevin the pony visit us today!
We went around the bed bound residents, which was fantastic to see their faces light up. It is wonderful to see how animal therapy can make a difference to residents. They stop worrying, smile, and have a chat even if it’s only for a few minutes, this is precious moments.
Kevin is so well behaved, going up in the lifts so everyone can enjoy the experience. Staff alike love Kevin, and it took longer to do the room visits as we were getting stopped by staff to have a stroke and feed him a biscuit.
A wonderful activity enjoyed by everyone. Can’t wait to have our next visit with piglets and the other animals.
