At The Boynes Care Centre, our residents took part in a proverb word game and a water painting session. The proverb word game was giving us all our nostalgia fix. Not only this but the game sparked conversation about advice our parents used to give us, it was such a lovely memory and reminiscence game for all to enjoy.
The water painting activity, created by ‘Active Minds’, is such a wonderful activity, just simply painting water onto the page reveals a wonderful picture underneath. This always brings such joy to the person doing the activity. It was a lovely therapeutic way to spend a Friday morning.
