Oaklands House Care Centre had a heartwarming surprise visit from students at Wildern School, showering our lovely residents with gifts! Children from all year groups crafted beautiful cards with festive messages, gift boxes filled with homemade biscuits, and Christmas seeded plant pots.
The lifestyles team distributed the cards, creating moments of happiness, joy, and tears among our residents. The plant pots now proudly grace our garden, and the biscuits were a delightful treat with a cup of tea.
Our residents were deeply moved and humbled by this festive gesture. Community connections matter, especially for older individuals. A massive thank you to all students at Wildern School for making a difference in our residents’ day!
