Happy Chinese New Year!
At Steep House Nursing Home, we celebrated the Year of the Dragon with a scrumptious lunch prepared by Eddie – stir-fried noodles and sweet and sour chicken had both residents and staff delighted!
To enhance our festive atmosphere, we got creative, making colourful paper lanterns and dragons to adorn our space. Steamed buns during teatime brought smiles to everyone’s faces, with most residents discovering a new favourite treat!
As the day concluded, we gathered to watch Chinese New Year celebrations on TV, accompanied by uplifting music. A day filled with joy, delicious food, and cultural appreciation!
