Residents and Staff in the sunshine enjoyed a sing-along with Matt.
The Residents and Staff were socially distanced and kept in their floor groups, Matt was the other side of the garden fence, but this all proved to be very fortuitous as neighbours, both senior and junior came out of their houses to join in. When the song had finished rapturous cheering and applause coming from the streets around could be heard well within the home. The song you will recognise as ‘You Are My Sunshine’, however, listen closely to the words of the verse as Residents and Staff have changed these to reflect the situation we are all living in.
We hope this brings a smile to all who see it, and shows that life in Stowford House is still joyous, despite the current circumstances.
