Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to give you a warm welcome to Chestnut View Care Home. I have been the manager here since December 2023, and being a registered nurse myself, I care deeply and passionately about all the residents that call Chestnut View their home. I have a fantastic team of staff, and regardless of their department, they are all exceptional. I take great pride in leading them. Whether you are joining us as a respite resident here or as a permanent resident, we will treat you with the utmost respect and dignity and will do everything we can as a team to ensure that all of your needs and wishes are met.

I see empowering and remarkable examples of health care professionals going the extra mile for our absolutely adorable residents every day. Having worked with an amazing team and being able to call my colleagues friends is an irreplaceable experience. We have the privilege to work at our residents’ home and be their family, we get to meet awesome people who’ve had amazing lives and listen to their wonderful stories. It is about all the precious moments, all the kindness, all that we share together as a big family that is so touching, meaningful and life fulfilling.

Hello, my name is Irene Larby and I work as a Receptionist at Chestnut View Care Home.
I have worked in Office Management roles, going into care when my husband passed away.
I have worked at Chestnut View for almost four years now and I continue to enjoy my role very much. My days are very busy but I receive a lot of support from my Admin Manager.
My hobbies include crosswords and home courses. I also love spending time with my grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Working here had helped me to broaden my skills and knowledge that I can implement not only at the workplace but also in my day to day life and I will always be grateful for the experience working with this lovely team/family.

Lifestyle Lead

My name is Debbie Terry, and I am the Lifestyle Lead at Chestnut View. While I may be new to this position, I bring with me years of experience in working with seniors and fostering meaningful connections with residents. I’m passionate about organising engaging person-centred activities, and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing genuine smiles light up their faces.

Outside of work, I love exploring new countries, playing badminton and spending time with family and friends.

Team Leader

Hi, my name is Anna. I have worked in care for over 40 years. I am a Team Leader at Chestnut View Care Home and have worked here for 20 years. I enjoy my work very much, I also enjoy spending time with my family and my 4 grandchildren.
