Shantel Boothe Da-Costa

Home Manager

Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to give you a warm welcome to Chestnut View Care Home. I have been the manager here since December 2023, and being a registered nurse myself, I care deeply and passionately about all the residents that call Chestnut View their home. I have a fantastic team of staff, and regardless of their department, they are all exceptional. I take great pride in leading them. Whether you are joining us as a respite resident here or as a permanent resident, we will treat you with the utmost respect and dignity and will do everything we can as a team to ensure that all of your needs and wishes are met.

Shanty Thomas

Clinical Deputy Manager

Hello, I am Shanty Thomas, the Deputy Manager here since October 2022. I hold a First Class (Hons) degree in Nursing from the UK, along with several other qualifications.

From secondary school onwards, my ambition was to become a specialist doctor or a medical professional who is bright, academic, and committed to making a positive impact on people’s lives through appropriate care. I consider myself an outgoing and sociable person with the right mindset, attitude, and personality to provide effective and professional person-centered care to each resident.

I began my career as a staff nurse and quickly progressed to the roles of Clinical Manager/Lead and Associate Matron in my previous workplace. With years of extensive experience across various medical settings, I am confident in my abilities and dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care.

Eli Beshirova

Administration Manager

I see empowering and remarkable examples of health care professionals going the extra mile for our absolutely adorable residents every day. Having worked with an amazing team and being able to call my colleagues friends is an irreplaceable experience. We have the privilege to work at our residents’ home and be their family, we get to meet awesome people who’ve had amazing lives and listen to their wonderful stories. It is about all the precious moments, all the kindness, all that we share together as a big family that is so touching, meaningful and life fulfilling.
