Nithin Mathew

Home Manager/Registered Nurse

Hi, I am Nithin. I have been working with the Future Care Group for the last 3 years. I started off in the group as a staff nurse at the Boynes Care Centre where I was able to spend quality time with the service users and learn the values of the company.

Later on, as Deputy Manager where I enjoyed learning from the challenges of working together with a highly talented team who provided meaningful, quality care to the service users in the home.

Recently I took the post of the Home Manager and I am looking forward to working with the team to provide the best care possible to our residents. I am passionate about working with our residents and learning more about them as well as creating person-centred care plans which cater to our residents’ individuality.

When I am away from work, I love spending time with my family, listening to music, watching movies and playing badminton.

Adam Millis

Deputy Manager / Registered Nurse / Dementia Lead

I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2001 and have worked in the clinical setting and Managerial/Commissioning roles both here in the UK and abroad.

I have worked for Future Care Group for the past 3 years. I am highly focused on providing the best possible care for residents ensuring they are comfortable and receiving the very best in holistic person-centred care.

I am passionate about my job and have a specific interest in Dementia Care, and what good Dementia Care should look like, it’s about really getting to know residents – the little things can be so important.

In my spare time I enjoy exercising and catching up with friends and family. On a typical day off you will find me either up the local hills with my dog or chilling on the sofa with Netflix.

Lynsey Bozward

Administration Manager
I have worked as an Administrator for twenty years with the past 8 years focused on the Care sector. Since joining The Boynes in February 2022, I can honestly say it is an absolute pleasure to come into work every morning and work with such wonderful colleagues, residents and visiting family members. The atmosphere is always very upbeat and everyone is happy. It is an honour to be part of such a welcoming team. When not at work, I love to spend time with my husband and two small children. As a family, we enjoy climbing mountains, gardening, exploring new places and visiting our relatives.

Lauren Davis

Lifestyle Lead

My interest in working within the care industry began whilst studying Mental Health Practice at Gloucestershire University. During my placement, I ran art workshops for the elderly and people with various disabilities. Being in this environment felt like second nature, and I soon realised that this is the industry I wanted to pursue a career in.

I’ve worked in the care sector for 6 years, with over 3 years as part of The Boynes team. I progressed from Care Team Leader to the challenging yet rewarding role of Lifestyle Lead. Bringing smiles to the faces of residents and their families is what makes this role so fulfilling.

Outside of work at The Boynes, I enjoy keeping myself busy with arts and crafts, particularly painting. Currently, I am learning how to crochet, though I haven’t had much success yet. I also cherish spending time with my two beautiful pugs, Peppa and Daisy, who mean the world to me. My partner and I love taking them wild camping in our van.

Joel Carvalho

Head of Maintenance

Maintenance work in a Care Home must involve all departments and because of that, I believe that teamwork is fundamental. Having a good relationship with the team makes it easy to communicate different needs and to learn something new every day.

Since my first day at The Boynes, I have tried my best to be of help to the staff and solve problems as soon as possible.

It’s good to work in a company that gives us the tools we need to comply with the legislation and keep the Care Home functioning correctly.

Honestly, the team at The Boynes is amazing, we all have our different personalities but at the end of the day we feel like we learn from each other. I believe that all this is due to having good management who know the issues that arise and work by our side every day.

As our shifts can sometimes be difficult and intense, I use my free time relaxing with my family and enjoying my hobbies: fishkeeping and cooking.

Pat Salter

Head of Housekeeping

I started my career at the Boynes as MS Specialist Carer and was soon promoted to a Senior Carer.
Since 2017, I have decided to have a change of career to better suit my home-life balance and so have become the Head of Housekeeping. I thoroughly enjoy my job, always make sure I have a smile for every resident and no job that is asked of me is too much trouble. The residents’ needs are always at the heart of every task I undertake.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family by going out for meals or by dancing the night away.

Claudia Lungu

Head Chef

I started my career in the kitchen in 2019 as a kitchen assistant. I enjoyed what I was doing and loved spending every moment with the head chef. She was a fantastic lady who taught me most of what I know now and believed in me and my future.

Today, I am the head chef and she was right: it is a beautiful job but very demanding. I work very hard but at the same time, I am very happy with what I have achieved so far.

In my free time, I spend time with my son and family. I enjoy gardening, listening to music, and walking across the Malvern Hills.
